Supported Independent Living, with the same team every week
Trained support workers in the home — during the day, overnight, or around the clock — so people can live independently and safely. We build a small, consistent team around each person rather than filling shifts from a pool.

SIL at a glance
What support can include
- Personal care — showering, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Meals — planning, shopping and cooking together
- Medication prompting and following therapy recommendations
- Housework, laundry and keeping the home safe
- Getting to appointments, work, study and community activities
- Overnight sleepover or active night support
Every shift is built around the person’s own goals, routine and assessed risks.
For SDA and accommodation providers
We provide the trained workers and daily living support inside a SIL arrangement. When the home comes from a separate SDA or accommodation provider, we say so clearly, so residents and families always know who is responsible for what. Have a vacancy in Melbourne’s inner south-east, Logan, Greater Brisbane or the Gold Coast? Call us.
How a SIL referral works
Most people go from first contact to their first regular shift in about two weeks.
- DAY 0
You send the referral
By phone, email or the form. Partial information is fine — we can fill the gaps on the phone.
- WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY
A service manager calls back
We check whether we can staff it in the area, talk through the roster and worker fit, and tell you honestly what we can staff and when.
- DAYS 2–5
We meet the person
Usually at home, with anyone they want there. We talk through goals, routines and anything we need to be careful about.
- DAYS 5–10
We plan and set up
Care plan written together, roster and start date agreed, service agreement signed, and workers matched.
- USUALLY WITHIN 2 WEEKS
Support starts
The person meets their workers before regular shifts begin. If the match is not right, we change it.
What helps us assess a SIL referral fast
Send what you have. These are the details that speed up our answer.
Roster shape
Hours, overnights (sleepover or active), ratios, and whether the roster is shared with another provider.
Support complexity
Behavioural, clinical or environmental considerations, and any behaviour support plan.
Location and timing
Suburb, start date, and whether a discharge or a breakdown in supports is driving it.
Plan details
Management type, funded lines, and plan end date.
Have a SIL vacancy or referral?
Call, and we will tell you on the first call whether we can staff it safely. If we cannot, we will say so — rather than saying yes and letting the roster fail later.
