Questions people ask us first
Straight answers, not marketing. If yours is not here, call 0468 406 997 — we will answer it whether or not you become a participant with us.
Getting started
How quickly can support start?
We respond to every enquiry within 1 business day. How quickly support actually starts depends on your location, the hours needed and finding the right worker — usually one to three weeks. We will give you a real date rather than a vague "soon".
What happens after I send a referral?
A service manager reads it, checks whether we can staff it in your area, and calls you within 1 business day. That call is a conversation about what you need — not a sales pitch. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you elsewhere.
Do I need to know which service I need before I contact you?
No. Tell us what a day currently looks like and what is not working. Naming the service is our job, not yours.
Does it cost anything to ask?
No. Enquiries, phone advice and help understanding the NDIS are free, whether or not you use our workers. Support itself is charged to your NDIS plan at NDIS price limits, and we will always confirm the line items before we start.
Support, workers and fit
Can I choose my support worker?
Yes. Tell us what matters — gender, language, age, interests, communication style — and you can meet a worker before regular shifts begin. If the match is not right, tell us and we will change it. You do not need to give a reason.
Will I get the same workers each week?
That is the point. We build a small consistent team around each participant rather than filling shifts from a pool. When someone is sick or on leave you will usually get another worker you have already met.
Do you support complex and high intensity needs?
Yes — SIL, in-home support and high intensity personal care. Workers are trained and signed off by our Clinical Lead before any complex shift. If we do not currently have someone trained for a specific support, we will tell you that rather than sending an unprepared worker.
Do you provide the house as well as the support?
We provide the trained workers and daily living support inside a SIL arrangement. Sometimes the house comes from a separate accommodation provider — when that is the case we will say so clearly, so you always know who is responsible for what.
Can you help if it is urgent?
Call rather than fill in a form. We cannot promise immediate commencement in every case, but we will prioritise the review, tell you honestly what is possible, and move quickly where a discharge or a breakdown in supports is involved.
Plans, money and paperwork
Which plan types do you work with?
All three — agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed. If you are not sure which yours is, we can help you work it out.
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. Namron Care and Supports Pty Ltd, provider number 4-JP33FLA, registration current to September 2028. You can verify us on the NDIS provider register.
What information do you keep about me?
Your contact details, plan information, care plan, progress notes and any incident records. You can ask to see any of it. We only share it with people who need it to support you, or where the law requires it. Read our privacy policy.
Can I bring an interpreter or an advocate?
Yes, at any meeting. We can also arrange an interpreter through TIS National, including Auslan, at no cost to you. Tell us what you need when you first make contact.
When something is not right
How do I make a complaint?
Tell any of our team, call the office, or email admin@namronsupports.org. You can also go straight to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544. Your support will not be affected by complaining. See the full process.
What if I want to change providers?
You can end your service agreement with notice — the notice period is written into your agreement, and we will not make it difficult. We will help hand over information to your new provider so support does not fall in a gap.
Where do job applications go?
Use the job application form. We review interest for current and future roles across Queensland and Victoria.
Still have a question?
Ask us. If the answer depends on your suburb, your plan or how complex the support is, we will tell you plainly rather than guessing.
